Helloooooo!
Tonight I had the chance to go back in time to the roaring 20’s & attend a ritzy party hosted by my county’s chamber of commerce. I, along with a few of my fellow actor friends, had the opportunity to take pictures and mingle with the guests using the proper 1920’s lingo in full out 1920’s hair and makeup. It was a great way to help promote our local community theatre. We even danced the charleston alongside a full out 1920’s big band. It was the bees knees!
Of course my favorite part of the night was doing my hair and makeup!
On the eyes I used a black gel liner as the base and then blended it up into the crease. I then blended a soft brown shadow into my crease to ad some depth. I patted a matte black shade on top of the black base to intensify it and lined my lower lash line and water line with a black gel liner. I used a matte cream colored shadow to highlight my brown one and inner tear duct. Finally, I applied a couple coats of black mascara.
On the checks I softly applied a peachy pink blush, and for the lips I used my favorite red lipstick (revlon lip butter in red velvet)

For my hair all I really did was curl it, part it on the side and pin up in pin curls. It took forever because I have so much hair but I love the finished look! What do you think?
